Wild Child was birthed in response to the enormous failure rates for the majority of small businesses and medium-size businesses.
I was driving home one afternoon and was listening to the radio when I heard some statics that blew mind; 96% businesses fail and 76% VC backed businesses fail. I just knew those stats had to be wrong! As I began digging into this claim and started searching for the ‘whys’ of the failure rates, I found some strong truths in the numbers and was shocked that the numbers on the radio were correct. Failure rates were truly this high.
It simply doesn’t have to happen, nor should it. Wild Child exists with the sole purpose of ensuring this perpetual motion of closures stops.
